We have been emailing about nursery colors and finally have our palette and saying she wants embroidered in the center of the baby quilt:

One of our customers had a favorite aunt whose estate ran out of quilts to pass out to family members. In the place of a quilt, she was given a favorite table cloth used for family gatherings. Did I think we could make a quilt out of the table cloth?
After picking the best complimentary tone of solid burgundy fabric, I added panels around the table cloth to size it to a full size, 86x86 quilt.
The table cloth quilt was finished with detailed machine quilting with a rose design to compliment the cross-stitch embroidery on the table cloth.
The customer had tears in her eyes when she saw it. She now also has a quilt with fond memories of her favorite aunt!
